Visa Information
A foreign national wishing to enter Myanmar must obtain a visa unless he or she is a citizen of one of the 8 eligible visa exemption countries such as Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Philippines, Thailand, Singapore and Vietnam. All visitors must hold a passport valid for 6 months. Ali
Myanmar launched the eVisa system on 1 September 2014. A list of 100 countries including Taiwan are eligible to apply for Tourist e-Visa. eVisas are issued online for tourism and business purposes only. An eVisa is issued up to 3 working days, is valid for 90 days from the date of issue and allows a stay for up to 28 days (for tourists) or 70 days (for business travellers).

Participants are requested to check with the Consulate/Embassy of Myanmar or diplomatic mission in their home country or with their travel agency for visa requirements. It is the responsibility of the participant to obtain a visa if required.

Airport Tax
An Airport Tax of 20 USD is levied on all passengers leaving Myanmar on international flights, which is paid at the airport of departure.
